CWU:UC;GestaposSuggestion: To create a branch of the Civil Workers Union for heavy loyalists that have proven their loyalty to the Union in every way possible with good intrigue.
Link: N/A
Description/What it does: The Gestapo ( Open for Name Criticism, only a reference ) would carry a Union radio that he could speak to the officers with. He'd carry a CID showing he's an undercover officer. If heavily respected, possibly a side-arm but I doubt it myself. He would wear almost the normal worker's union, involving slacks, the coat, gloves beanie and dress shoes.
The Gestapo would require an extremely high amount of loyalist points, and is recruited, not applied for. The chances would increase for higher ranked Civil Workers. They receive black marks like normal units as to make up for their in-expendable features.
The Gestapo would situate himself to be the normal worker doing inconspicuous work inside apartments, while secretly, listening in. He'd carry a lock-pick if he didn't already have the master key-set of the building. If the worker is detected, he will be prosecuted as though he was a normal citizen or worker yet receive black marks, instead. The Gestapo is not immune to homicide or policide, and will be trialed for amputation unless the homicide was by command; they are not supposed to be ordered to assassinate anyone, nor are they allowed to. They may only carry the side-arm provided unless ordered by someone above the rank of Divisional.
The Gestapo cannot enter the Nexus without permission of an EgU+. The Gestapo is useful to Divisionals, yet carries no ranking over any unit from RCT to SeC. The Gestapo is not a combat tool. They will not assist in a combat situation unless the combatants force them too. If the Gestapo is captured by someone who is not affiliated with the Union, he will not disclose his affiliation under any torture, assault or threats.
-OPEN TO CRITICISM-The Gestapo must remain semi-workeresque as to lower suspicion. If he is in the middle of an investigation that he can push to later, he must stop investigating if Union activities arise. If the Gestapo cannot return to unit life, he will notify the Director with a code sentence put in place. Something along the lines of, "I'm in a meeting right now." or similar.
The Gestapo is not a unit and hold's no benefits above the normal citizen. He receives one ration at the RTD, he receives the same token payment. He has no Union salary, yet is rewarded at the co-operating Officer's judgement. This could be anything from nothing to promotion, including ration or token reward between that. A co-operating Divisional can only promote the Gestapo at the Director's discretion.
The Gestapo is also working alongside the Director, yet the Gestapo will not bring any information to the Director. The Director simply knows he exists and that he should inconspicuously support him. If the Director fails to remain inconspicuous or purposely discloses information of the Gestapo's existence, he will receive heavy punishment or they may mind-wipe the thoughts of the Gestapo and re-do the entire co-operating effort between the Director and Gestapo.
If the Gestapo misdirects Union information, he will be amputated.
How Will it Benefit the Server?:(One Paragraph) If a unit walks into the UCH, everyone and their sister will hear it and become suspicious. If a worker walks into the UCH, nobody would suspect anything. The Gestapo adds an extra edge of information gain to the Union; they could also be a double agent and secretly support the Resistance along with the Union. They know the punishment, however.
How did you find out/come up with this?: It's heavily inspired off of something I did with my worker, yet I'm not making this simply because I want a Gestapo but more because I want more undercover operations for the union, which would be in place anyway from the lore.
