Title is self explanatory.
I would join the Civil Protection. Fuck yeah.

To be honest, IRL, I don't think I could be a unit. Though then again, I don't think I have what it takes to rebel either. And suicide is sure as hell not an option. Never, ever, ever. So really, I'd just kinda keep my head down as a citizen probably. Even though life would suck, there's isn't much else to do.

Civil Protection gives me a reason to kill Swagfags and other various cancerous sub-genres of the Human race.
Benefits and a place to stay.
Blam. I'd do it on the spot.

Probably be one of the refugees with their yellow shirts. Assuming I got away from being rounded up into one of the cities I'd stay out in the sticks and live in the mountains or something. Being a unit would be awful, and a citizen just as bad. I don't think Overwatch will come into the mountains and kick my door down.

I'd go with what Pettit said, there's nothing to care for anymore other then your life, maybe family. I'd explore some areas of the city that are off-limits then leave for the mountains or anywhere out of the city, live with a group of people.

I would create my own strip club in the depths of an industrial combine controlled city and have airborne as my bottom bitch.
He would be working that pole for days

Wow....That is a tough question. I would probably go into hiding, probably being found. Forced under the means of the combine. Then just trying to wish things were normal. But overall, I would probably just try to defeat a small cause.

For me, what had started as a passing interest turned into a bit of an absurd passion. I've honestly come to know enough about explosives and their household production to probably crank out high explosives out of basic contraband or legal goods. So yeah. If I were in the city, I'd make some IEDs every once in a while and 'splode the UCA. Have some sort of secure hideyhole for the equipment and materials to be stashed in between every stint.
Alternately, I'd head out into the Canadian wilderness. Now that I think on this it would scare me shitless to be pursued through the boreal shield in the wintertime, by a bunch of rifle wielding OTA and a hunter chopper. Hm. Also, I doubt headcrabs could survive a winter :~)

I'm too American and have too many guns to bend over if something like this happened in actuality. Myself, my cousins, and their friends would probably die in the 7 Hour War if not the aftermath as part of a militia.
If not, I'd stay low as a citizen until there was a reasonable chance of success if I were to rebel.

Lol I have lots of guns too. But I'd rather get privileges and almost guaranteed safety until the uprising. Free food, better living, and TRANSHUMANS.

Except you wouldn't be living. A lot of the 'realistic' hardcore canons depict you never being able to socialize, talk, or anything outside of duty. Search up the Stanford Prison experiment. Within a couple weeks, you're going to be a mental trashcan, where every chance you have to interact with others will add more shit to the heap; if it doesn't, you're earning your way to an OWR. This extreme para-isolationism and role alone will fuck your mind until you're completely dissatisfied with life, mind barely thinking, and more or less enslaved to beat the withering face of humanity into a bleeding pulp. And that's without the indubitably harsh conditioning techniques the Combine would use. Our version of the CCA would be tolerable; too bad everything indicates it's gonna be nothing like that.
And lel, citizens are given 'food' too.

I'd rather be mental trashcan. Because the other choice involves getting beat up all the time. Technically if the game was realistic enough (hl2), Gordon would be dead early on. Everyone ends up being either a lifeless body or a mental trashcan from the food citizens even get. Plus, I get to wear a cool uniform.

0/10 not worth. At least as a citizen, sure, you have little to no rights but at least you still retain your humanity. As a unit, you are basically selling your soul to the devil for a few perks which I kinda don't feel are very worth the trouble.
